I hope you received and were able to read our Financial Review put together by Mr. John Kiefer, our business manager, and the Finance Council members. It highlights well what is happening financially here with regards to our mission and goals for achieving that mission.
We want to grow closer to God and one another, especially through the principles of C.L.O.V.E.R. (Confession – Life – Our Lady – Vocations – Eucharist – Revealed Word).
In order to continue directing the good spiritual growth happening here, I encourage you to take our C.L.O.V.E.R. SURVEY if you have not already. Links can be found on the parish website and in the e-newsletter. The survey is only 19 questions and should not take more than 10 minutes to complete.
This is the last weekend to take this survey. Getting as many people to take this survey as possible will help to ensure we have the best data possible for setting goals and staying focused on our mission. Thank you for taking the time to take this survey.
UNITED CATHOLIC APPEAL
Every year, the Archdiocese of Indianapolis has a “United Catholic Appeal” (UCA) in order to help fund specific areas of mission and ministry in our Local Church.
These areas include: (1) Outreach to the poor through Catholic Charities; (2) Evangelization and Catholic Schools; and (3) the education of our seminarians and clergy retirement.
I am a strong believer in all of these areas of ministry and mission in the Archdiocese. I support the UCA every year with a Miter Society level gift of $1,500 or higher. I want to encourage you to consider what might be a sacrificial gift for yourself to support these projects. You can designate your gift to one area particular to your heart or to the area in most need of funding at this time.
Please watch for a mailing from the Archdiocese about the United Catholic Appeal or visit their website at http://storybook.link/UCAstorybook/
This weekend, we will have extra envelopes with information available for you to take in the narthex.
Thank you for considering a donation to the UCA 2021.
In Jesus, through Mary and St. Joseph,
