What is Revealed Word?
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place” (Matthew 5:17-18).
We believe that Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of all things—history, purpose of life, knowledge and reason, etc. As such, we must come to know the revealed Word of God—Jesus Christ—in order to know ourselves, God and the meaning of life and love.
Why is the revealed word Important?
Becoming a lifetime learner of Jesus Christ through Catholicism is essential to us here at St. Malachy. Our faith encompasses 2,000 years of some of the greatest minds on faith, morals and Jesus Christ. Reading and studying them are sure paths to becoming exactly who God is calling you to be.
Our parish is committed to providing resources and opportunities to meet the revealed Word of God through many outlets and means for people of all ages. This is how revealed Word is essential to the CLOVER model here at St. Malachy.
