Our Lady

Who is our lady?

“When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved, he said to his mother, ‘Woman, behold, your son.’ Then he said to the disciple, ‘Behold, your mother.’” (John 19:26-27)

There is no better way to Jesus than through His Mother, Our Lady.  Why? Because no one knows their son better than his mother! If you want to get to know Jesus, then your best bet is to get to know Him through His Mother. No one knows Him better than she!

Mary’s role in our salvation is unsurpassed by any mere mortal, and God still asks her to play a role from heaven. The Catholic Church has recognized numerous apparitions of Our Lady in places like Lourdes (1858), Fatima (1917) and Guadalupe (1531). Miracles have occurred attributed to her special intercession. None of this would have happened if it was not desired by our heavenly Father.

By letting Our Lady play a role in our faith lives here at St. Malachy, we are growing in our love for and devotion to her divine Son Jesus.  This is why Our Lady is an essential part of the St. Malachy CLOVER model.
