Community of Faith
At St. Malachy Catholic School, faith comes first. Our students practice living the values of our Catholic faith and developing relationships with Jesus. Through daily prayer, religion classes, attending Mass, and preparing for and sharing in the sacraments, we live as a community of faith. Our faith community models forgiveness and reconciliation in all interactions; from classroom management to sporting events, it is important for our love of Jesus to shine through.
Academic excellence is often demonstrated by the ability to perform, achieve, and excel in scholastic activities. But academic excellence is more than just making good grades. Academics are key to helping children grow to become productive members of the church, the local community, and the world. St. Malachy Catholic School is committed to academic excellence and student success at all grade levels. Administrators, teachers and staff challenge students to reach their highest level of academic excellence by encouraging every student to be an active participant in the learning process. We help each student by identifying and promoting opportunities to strengthen their skill sets and develop as unique individuals.
"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." ~ Matthew 7:12 At St. Malachy Catholic School, service is at the heart of our faith. We promote a learning environment that celebrates faith while serving others with the gifts that God has given us. Service is part of our classroom learning and includes such projects as writing letters to nursing homes; serving in the Cathedral Soup Kitchen, canned food drives for local food pantries, and a clothing drive. We are called to show compassion for those who have less, to stand up for common good, and to share our resources with our school, parish, and community.

St. Malachy Catholic School is a faith-filled family. We recently celebrated the 150th anniversary of our parish, and discovered we have had many different family generations attend St. Malachy School. Several of our staff members are former graduates of
St. Malachy. The motto of our school is “Shamrock Strong" which describes our unity and support of each other.
We take much pride in our faith and our togetherness as one St. Malachy family.
