Let all you do be done in Love…through C.L.O.V.E.R.

Dear parents,

August is behind us and we started September with Adoration and Benediction. The first Friday of every month students and staff spend time with Jesus during Adoration and Benediction. All can attend Adoration every Tuesday from 5pm to 6pm followed by Mass at 6:15pm. Adoration is our opportunity to pray and worship Jesus. Some ask, “What do I do at Adoration?” Answer: Be in the presence of Jesus, pray, read scripture, say the Rosary, and silently listen to God’s will in order to grow in our relationship and union with Jesus. I admit that sometimes I become distracted and think about the laundry list of things I need to do or am going to do. At this time, rather than leaving to go do all the things of the world, I pray for help to shut out the world as there is nothing more important than Jesus. Adoration helps me to re-organize my priorities and focus on the work God has planned for me…to help the students and staff of St. Malachy to grow into the saints they were made to be. I hope all will take the opportunity to go to Adoration.
