Dear parents,

Form to order presale Country Fair tickets, wristbands, etc will come home this week.

It’s Pennies for Pigs week! Classes try to bring in $150 to buy a pig for the Country Fair. We always have a reward for the class that brings in the most money. This year it's an ice cream treat and the class can be casual the week of September 30th. Bring in those coins and bills.

Next week, we will park at the church on Wednesday, September 26 and Thursday, September 27 for dismissal due to the set up of rides and tents for the Country Fair. This is known as Country Fair parking. We may need to do Country Fair parking on Monday, September 30th, if the tents and rides are not picked up before 1pm.

September 24, 2024 at 6pm in the middle school science room for a Parent Preview Night Hosted by President of Cardinal Ritter, Jo Hoy and Jamie Liston, Director of Admissions.
October 11 CYO Night at Marian University. Ritter vs. Scecina, 7pm.
Oct. 22 - 24 High School Placement Test Workshop 3:30 - 5:00. This placement test workshop is for anyone attending a Catholic high school in the fall of 2025.

Volunteer opportunities

Interested in being a parent volunteer? All school volunteers are required to complete Safe Parish training prior to volunteering. Click here to complete the training. The code to enter is archindy2021.

Why do I work at St. Malachy

I truly believe that God called me to St. Malachy; it’s in His plan for me. I love working with all the students and staff at St. Malachy.

Where do I usually sit in Church

Well at school mass, I sit with Mrs. Prahl’s class because Mrs. Prahl was my sponsor when I went through RCIA. However, when I attend mass with my husband, we usually sit in the back not so we can sneak out but because we can sit down quickly and see Jesus in the stained glass.

How would I describe St. Malachy to someone who has never been here

It’s home…where my other family comes to grow. St. Malachy is a family that has very high expectations and students and staff sometimes experience growing pains, but when their time comes to leave St. Malachy they are more than prepared to meet and conquer the next challenge knowing that they can calls us if they ever need help because we are family!

I’ve been married to my amazing husband, George, for 27 years. We have three children and one princess (Macy our 2 year old boxer).

I didn’t like going to church because it seemed so long, but now as an adult, I love going to mass to celebrate!
