Dear parents,

With the high heat indices predicted for this week, I will be monitoring the heat index as it impacts recess. I'm hoping we will be able to go outside for recess, but if the heat index is 93 or above we will not go outside for recess. Please be sure your child is drinking water and brings a refillable water bottle to school everyday, but especially this week. Keeping all students and staff safe is my concern and priority that I take very seriously. Please pray for those that work outside in this heat. Have a good evening everyone. God Bless.

Middle School Parent Meeting - Aug 27, 2024 at 6:30pm in the school cafeteria. Enter through the gym entrance door #2. All are welcome, but it is geared for 6th grade parents and parents of new middle school students.
Cans in your Hands is Tuesday, August 27. Bring in a canned food item and your child/children can dress in casual clothes.
Friday, August 30 - trash bag sales end. Send in all paperwork/order
No School - Monday, September 2.
Adoration & Benediction is Friday, September 6. Students can wear spirit wear and jeans.

Why do I work at St. Malachy

I truly believe that God called me to St. Malachy; it’s in His plan for me. I love working with all the students and staff at St. Malachy.

Where do I usually sit in Church

Well at school mass, I sit with Mrs. Prahl’s class because Mrs. Prahl was my sponsor when I went through RCIA. However, when I attend mass with my husband, we usually sit in the back not so we can sneak out but because we can sit down quickly and see Jesus in the stained glass.

How would I describe St. Malachy to someone who has never been here

It’s home…where my other family comes to grow. St. Malachy is a family that has very high expectations and students and staff sometimes experience growing pains, but when their time comes to leave St. Malachy they are more than prepared to meet and conquer the next challenge knowing that they can calls us if they ever need help because we are family!

I’ve been married to my amazing husband, George, for 27 years. We have three children and one princess (Macy our 2 year old boxer).

I didn’t like going to church because it seemed so long, but now as an adult, I love going to mass to celebrate!
