Let all you do be done in Love…through C.L.O.V.E.R.
Dear parents,
You may have noticed our Daily Attendance Board at the front door in the mornings. This year we are focusing on the very important life skills of being present and on-time to school, along with being ready to begin the day. This means that students should be at school before 7:45 am. This helps the student do their morning routine to be ready to start the school day. Students that arrive after 7:45 am must go through the office, but are not counted tardy until 7:50 am. Students that arrive after 7:45 am may start the day in a rush, requiring others to wait on them, or the teacher to help them get caught up. With the construction in Brownsburg and the possibility of a train, please leave early so that your child/children arrive before 7:45 am. Our morning care does open at 6:45 am and is only $1 a day per child.
On time is late, early in on time, and late is unacceptable

Safety
-
Dismissal - do not leave until the parking lot attendant tells you to move.
-
Morning Drop off - If you drop off at the back in the mornings, please park in a yellow parking spot. Then walk your child to the sidewalk. Please do not pull up to the sidewalk, to drop off in the back.
-
Dismissal - Please make sure you turn your engines off once you park in your parking spot and keep your engine off until we begin dismissing. This prevents accidentally shifting the vehicle in gear. We close the parking lot at 2:54pm everyday, except on Wednesdays it closes at 2:24pm.
Information you may need at some point this school year
-
On spirit wear and jeans days, students can wear uniform bottoms or jeans - no jean shorts. They do not need to wear a belt with jeans and spirit wear does not need to be tucked in.
-
Late line - once you get to the school, you can park and walk in to get your child/children - you do not need to stay in line by the curb.
-
Morning care opens at 6:45am. It’s $1 per child per day. Please pay the day you attend.
-
If your child is absent from school, call the office or email us at
-
To email the office please use rather than emailing Lori Koontz, Kim Baldini, or Anna Fon.
-
Don’t forget to log your family service hours. https://stmalachy.org/service-
hours/ -
During COVID we allowed donated items to count toward service hours. 23-24 school year will be the last school year that donated items will count toward family service hours. $10 spent equals one service hour.
-
If you utilize Extended Day or are in the late line, you will come in to let the office know you are here and then check them out.
