Band Information Meeting is May 12 at 7:00 pm in the cafe, for any student in 4th - 8th grade that would like to join the band for next school year.

8th grade Confirmation is May 19 at 7:00 pm at SS. Peter and Paul Cathedral in Indianapolis with Archbishop Thompson.

Field Day is May 20 with a short pep rally 12:15pm - 12:45pm. Parents are welcome to attend the Pep Rally at 12:15 - bring ear plugs:). It is a 1:00 pm dismissal. Extended Day is available.

22 - 23 Tentative Calendar is attached. - Dec. 12, 2022 & February 17, 2023 changed from E-Learning Days to In Person Days. REASON FOR THE CHANGE: House Enrolled Act 1093 limits schools to “no more than three (3) virtual student instructional days each school year.” This includes weather-related virtual days. The tentative calendar can also be found on the website, top of the main page.

3rd Grade teacher
St. Malachy Catholic School, located on the west side of Indianapolis in the growing town of Brownsburg is seeking a 3rd Grade Teacher for the 2022 -2023 school year. The teacher will provide instruction in Math, ELA, Science, Social Studies and Religion instruction, as well as preparing students for IREAD-3 and ILEARN using student data. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong faith, is an engaging, positive joyful individual who focuses on student-center based instruction and creating a safe, faith-based learning environment, building strong relationships with students and staff, and helping students become responsible life-long learners.

Safety

Drop off - If you drop off at the back in the mornings, please park in a parking spot. Then walk your child to the sidewalk. Please do not pull up to the sidewalk, to drop off in the back.

Dismissal - Please make sure you turn your engines off once you park in your parking spot and keep your engine off until we begin dismissing. This prevents accidentally shifting the vehicle in gear. We close the parking lot at 2:55pm everyday, except on Wednesdays it closes at 2:25pm.
