Let all you do be done in Love…through C.L.O.V.E.R.

Week of April 8, 2024

Dear parents,

Today is the Solemnity of the Annunciation. Usually this is celebrated on March 25; however, this was during Holy Week this year. During Holy week we focus on   Jesus’ Passion. Therefore the Solemnity of the Annunciation was moved to April 8, 2024. The Solemnity of the Annunciation is the day we celebrate the archangel Gabriel visiting virgin Mary at which he informs her that she will be the mother of Jesus.

Many protestants believe we worship Mary; however, that is not true. We do recognize the importance of Mary’s purpose, her example of pure faith, and that she is the mother of the son of God! Mary was conceived and born without sin; thus, chosen to be the mother of Jesus. I hope all of you will find prayer time today to remember and be thankful for Mary’s fiat, “Let it be done to me according to your word.” (Luke 1:38)

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow at school. We will be unburying the Alleluia at 7:50am in the gym to start our day!

In Christ,

Mrs. Saundra Kennison, principal

School Needs and/or Employment Opportunities

  • A middle school math and middle school science teacher positions have been posted.  Math/Science teachers are usually licensed to teach both; therefore, we have teachers on our staff that can teach both. However, we must hire one teacher that is licensed in either math or science. The ideal candidate is a practicing Catholic licensed teacher in mathematics 6th grade through 12th or science grades 6th - 8th grade. The teacher will be responsible for teaching pre-algebra, algebra, and geometry as well as have homeroom responsibilities.

  • Extended day is looking to hire a few people to supervise students after school until 4:00 pm or 5:00 pm. If you know anyone interested, contact Benita Wheeler
