Dear parents,

Martin Luther King Jr. was a leader of civil rights, specifically to eliminate racial discrimination and believed in nonviolent measures to bring about change. We are God’s children made in His image, and called to love our neighbors as ourselves. Today we honor Dr. King, I encourage everyone to show others love through our actions.
