Pre-K STEM Happenings
Our theme for the month of February is the human body and sports. We will be learning how the different systems of our body work. This week we will focus on the skeletal system and teeth. We will be playing soccer! We will have some fun pretending to be doctors with a little bit of hospital dramatic play. We will do an experiment comparing eggshells in soda with teeth enamel in soda. Students will also look at human x-rays and animal x-rays.
Engineering: We took the igloo down. There were 316 milk jugs!
For math, we are continuing with number identifying, counting, writing numbers, graphing, more than/less than concept and patterns. We will continue working on the concept of addition, subtraction, skip counting, and greater than/less than.
