Pre-K STEM Happenings
Our theme for the month of February is the human body and sports. We will be learning how the different systems of our body work. This week we will focus on the brain & the digestive system. The students will have an opportunity to do a craft about digestion, and they will participate in a demonstration that shows how digestion works. We will have lots of fun with that! Students will continue planting shamrocks that will be taken home at a later date. We will discuss bobsledding and ski jumping.
We are beginning to hammer every week. Ask your child how it is going.
For math, we are continuing with number identifying, counting, writing numbers, graphing, more than/less than concept and patterns. We will continue working on the concept of addition, subtraction, skip counting, and greater than/less than. Our measurement of the body activity was pushed off to this week.
For the next two weeks, we are singing “The Fruit of the Spirit”. Join us with this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rezg4jYFoj0
