Fifth grade is a big year in preparing for middle school. With focus, a positive attitude, and a bit of risk-taking students can achieve the high expectations of fifth grade. Our work will be challenging, but very rewarding, and we expect students to take initiative and responsibility for their own learning. Fifth grade is a year for putting all the academic pieces together. In 5th grade, students are saying goodbye to elementary school and saying hello to another new adventure. . . middle school.
