First, I would like to say thank you to anyone who is reading this blog. Also, I wanted to let you know I appreciate your patients as the kitchen staff works through some beginning of the school year shop keeping. I plan to get a handle on this blog and keep it up to date soon.
BIG ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THIS WEEK!
Salads are back…. starting September 7th
Starting on Wednesday we will be offering 2 premade salad options in addition to the main entree, and turkey sandwich. In general, the salads will consist of Lettuce, shredded carrots, cherry tomato, fresh broccoli, and shredded cheese. We will be serving this with a side of fruit and a bag of whole grain Tostito chips.
From Monday to Thursday, we will offer the salad with a meat option that will very weekly, this week it will have grilled chicken strips. We will also be offering a daily vegetarian option which has a hard-Boiled egg as the protein. On Fridays, we will only be offering the vegetarian option.
This week we will also be featuring our First student choice day.
The 8th grade selected the menu items for Thursday the 9th.
Spaghetti with meatballs, Garlic bread, and a side salad… Funnel cake was a close second. On this Day we will be rolling out our new home-made ranch dip to serve with the carrots.
