Fifth Grade Teacher

Hello, I am Amy Kish and I am your fifth
grade teacher!

My family and I just recently moved to the area from Crown
Point, Indiana. My husband, Jeff, is a firefighter for the Town of Brownsburg.
We have been married for 3 years and have two children- Easton (3) and
Adalyn (8 months) along with 3 dogs! I hold a Bachelor's Degree in
Elementary Education with a concentration in Mathematics from Eastern
Illinois University, as well as a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction
from Olivet Nazarene University. This year marks my 11th year as a teacher!
Though most of my career has been spent teaching 3rd grade, I have also
taught 2nd, 5th, and Middle School RtI Mathematics. Outside of the
classroom, you can find us trying out all the different parks in the area or
eating ice cream at my son’s favorite spot- Mandy’s! I feel very blessed to be
joining the St. Malachy Family not only as a teacher, but also as a parent, as
my son enters the Clover class this year! I look forward to getting the year
started and meeting all of you!!
