Our Faith Can Move Mountains
Quick Reminders
- MORNING ARRIVAL - Please remember to have your student at school well before the 7:50 AM tardy bell. When students arrive right at 7:50 AM, they have to wait to be walked to our classrooms, and they miss some of that before school learning and socializing time.
- HATS/GLOVES - We are finally able to go back outside for recess. Please send hats and mittens every day AND let your child know that they are in their bag. We have an “extra” bag. We are handing out at least 6 pairs of mittens every day that we are outside. The temperature on our playground is usually 5 degrees colder than the thermometer suggests because of the WIND!
- ClassDojo - Please know that most of the behavior that is reported is very age appropriate, and we will work with each student to correct the behavior. If at any time we have a serious behavior issue that requires immediate attention or are needing extra parent support for a specific behavior, we will notify you via email or phone call.

Pre-K STEM Happenings
Our theme for the month of March is Lent, rainbows and St. Patrick’s Day. We will be doing a science experiment to try to change the color of a carnation using colored water. We will be working on patterns by making a patterned Fruit Loop necklace. We will continue working on the concept of “one more” and introduce the concept of “one less”. The students will have the opportunity to do a “salt-paint” shamrock, too. We continue to work weekly on our hammering skills.
For math, we are continuing with number identifying, counting, writing numbers, graphing, more than/less than concept and patterns. We will continue working on the concept of addition, subtraction, skip counting, and greater than/less than.
We are singing “Peace Like a River” - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7it5W1FVtTs
