April 20, 2026

Good afternoon parents and guardians,

Congratulations to our 2nd graders that received their 1st Holy Communion yesterday!
This week is Recycling Awareness Week.  Students will be learning about recycling and how it helps our environment.  During our recent pep rally, students participated in a recycling relay to sort recycled items. Let's all do our part to reduce, reuse, and recycle!

Shamrock Spectacular Annual Fundraiser
"Be sure to sign up for this year's Shamrock Spectacular on April 25th! For the first time, each registration counts as a point towards each of your children's classrooms. The top grade level with the most points by the event will win a Pizza Party and a light-up Shamrock Necklace for each student.  If your table captain did not include all names at the time of registration, please know we will make sure everyone gets counted at the event.  Also each registration gives you a chance to win a VIP parking spot at Country Fair in September. The competition is getting close as you can see below!  So be sure to reserve your spot for the fun-filled adults-only evening benefiting your favorite St. Malachy Shamrocks! Click here to register (https://stmalachy.fellowshiponego.com/external/form/8189672f-7296-459a-8d00-a0e81922db35) or see the attached flyer for details. "

Indiana has removed all income limits for receiving a CHOICE Scholarship as of July 1, 2026. This scholarship for kindergarten through 8th grade typically covers 80-90% of tuition. The Indiana Choice School must apply for students; parents/guardians cannot apply for their children.   Using the link below, please submit the appropriate documents:
  1. If you meet the income limit as seen on the chart below, please upload only the first page of your Federal Income Tax Return with your adjusted gross income.
  2.  If you are above the income limit, please send proof of Indiana residency. (Examples: Insurance policy, bank statement, lease/mortgage, utility bill, voter registration, credit card bill, etc.)
Have a wonderful week and please know of my prayers for you and your family!
