Middle School   

Dress:

• St. Malachy P.E. uniform
• socks
• gym shoes that tie
• no jewelry except for post earrings

Curriculum:  Students will participate in various games and activities such as fitness testing, volleyball, basketball, tumbling, floor hockey, paddleball and Frisbee golf.

*Each student needs a composition notebook.

P.E. Excuse:  Please send in a note if your child is sick or injured and cannot participate in class.  In the case of a doctor’s excuse please send in a note to let me know when the student has been released by the doctor.

Grades:  Physical Education grades are based on the following areas:

•        daily dress
•        participation/effort
•        written tests/notebook/projects
•        skill tests such as basketball dribbling, volleyball serves and hockey shooting
